California Safe Schools for All

Menlo Park City School District has been open to in-person instruction since September 8, 2020. Initially MPCSD reopened for cohorts of vulnerable students as allowed under the CDPH Cohorting Guidance. On September 28, 2020, MPCSD reopened for grades K-1 to attend every day under an approved waiver from San Mateo County Health and CDPH. From October 19 - November 9, MPCSD phased in the reopening of grades 2-8 in an alternating week hybrid model as the county was at that time in the Red Tier and all grades were allowed to reopen without a waiver. San Mateo County has since returned to the Purple Tier and our schools have remained open as allowed under CDPH guidance that schools already open may remain open.
This page contains the documentation required by CDPH for schools that are operating in person to access supplemental funding from the Governor's Safe Schools for All Plan, plus supporting MPCSD documents with additional information about our reopening of schools.
