Hi everyone!  I am thrilled to be part of the vbrant Hillview teaching community.  This year, I will be teaching Math 6, Math 6B/7A, and Math 7.  I am looking forward to a fantastic year filled with "a-ha!" moments, as each of my students discover the why and how behind the math that they are learning.
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell with a B.S. in Economics.  After working several years as a marketing analyst for companies such as Pitney Bowes, I left the workforce to raise my children.  I would often play math games with them, and revel in their “a-ha!” moments.
My philosophy is that every student can learn.  In my classroom, the idea that a student is “bad” at math doesn’t exist.  I encourage each student to push to reach his or her potential… then exceed it.   My students know that I’ve “got their back”.  I value open communication between parents, students, and myself.  I strongly feel that all parties must be vested in the learning process for the student to experience success.
In my free time, I enjoy bike riding, swimming, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
You can always reach me at
