I was born and raised in San Francisco, CA.  I graduated from UC Davis in 2007 with a B.S. in Human Development.  I received my multiple subject and foundational math single subject credential from San Jose State University in 2009.  I have completed all the coursework for the Mathematics Education masters program at San Francisco State University and will graduate upon completion of my final field study.

This will be my second year at Hillview, and my 7th year of teaching -- I previously taught 8th-grade Algebra and Geometry, as well as all 6th-grade subjects at Kennedy M.S. in Cupertino.  In addition to my teaching experience at CUSD, I taught pre-algebra and pre-algebra prep at Bellarmine Summer School for three summers and worked at Khan Academy for the two summers.

Besides teaching, I enjoy spending time with my 3-year-old Husky mix Meeko, dining at new restaurants, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.  I also try to stay active whenever I have some free time -- I enjoy outdoor adventures and taking classes at fitness studios in the Bay Area (my favorites are Pilates, BootCamp, and boxing).

The best way to reach me is via email at  You may also call me at 650.326.4341 ext. 2303 (please leave a voicemail during school hours).  I am very excited to continue my teaching adventure at Hillview and I look forward to an amazing year!
