I was born and raised in Menlo Park, and I attended Oak Knoll Elementary and Hillview Middle School as a young student. I began my college career at the University of Montana and returned to the Bay Area to complete my undergraduate degree and teaching credential at Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont. After completing my student teaching at Hillview in the fall of 2015, I officially joined the faculty in the fall of 2016. I teach 6th grade Humanities Core and the Thrive elective.I live in Menlo Park with my son, Wyatt, who is an eighth-grader at HV. I am passionate about the outdoors and can be found hiking local trails or camping and exploring the coast with my family. I am currently approaching the finale of a Master's Program at NDNU, and greatly value the continuation of my own education.

Middle school kids and teaching are my true passions. I am excited and eager to partner with families as they navigate every facet of the middle school years. I am always open to communication and can be reached at eellis@mpcsd.org
