This is my second year teaching at Hillview and my thirteenth overall year teaching middle school Physical Education. While at Hillview, I teach New Games. My focus is to introduce games to the students that they wouldn’t normally see in school PE. Breaking away from the traditional route, here in New Games you will see activates such as European Handball, Omnikin Ball Games, Tchoukball, Ultimate Frisbee and more.

I have a BAE in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Physical Education from Arizona State University, certificated in English Second Language from Maricopa Colleges in Arizona and a MSA in Sports Administration from Belhaven University in Jackson MI.

The last few years my husband and I became empty nesters, and our 3 sons are attending college in Arizona – our oldest is about to graduate from Arizona State University this coming spring. GO DEVILS!!!

Since moving to the Bay Area, my husband (also a teacher) and I have spent our off time enjoying the weather – hiking, cycling and running! Since our move here just a few years ago, we have come to love the area and feel blessed to be able to teach in such a wonderful community.
