PTO President Welcome Letter 2021-2022

  • Oak Knoll Families,

I am thrilled to welcome you to this new school year. I feel proud to be in the company of courageous citizens, and hope you do too. The school leadership and staff have worked overtime to bring every Oak Knoll Otter back to campus in a safe, thoughtful, and joyful way. Our children are in good hands. Oak Knoll is so very special, thanks to the partnership between the incredible teachers and staff and involved and engaged families like yours. As teachers open their classroom doors for our kids on the first day of school next week, I encourage you to also take a brave step, introduce yourself to fellow parents, and embrace the school community. After all…together is our favorite place to be!

Here’s how you can get involved and what to expect as we kick off this new school year.

    2. Get Involved

There are many ways, large and small, to get involved at Oak Knoll. Volunteer in your child’s classroom by signing up with your room parents. Sign up to help the PTO at the Community Connection event on the first day of school here. And join the parents on the Menlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation (MPAEF) here

    3. Please Donate

Your donations enable Oak Knoll to be the amazing school and community that it is. Now more than ever, your support for the One Community Campaign (OCC) is critical as we invest in the long-term academic, physical, and emotional needs of our children. The OCC funds support specialist teachers like art, music, library and PE as well as curriculum enrichment, student events, and family events. Make your donation today here. We ask all families to contribute an amount that feels meaningful, with a suggested donation of $2,000 per student.

    Thank you!
