Welcome to Science with Mr. Valdez!  I am trhilled to be teaching at Hillview. 

I'm a Bay Area native and grew up in the peninsula.  I attended college in southern California to be close to my siblings who were also going to school in that area.  My family is a huge part of my life and I spend as much time with them as I can.  I earned my masters degree at the University of San Francisco and got my first taste of classroom teaching at Ida B. Wells High School in Hayes Valley.

I am a HUGE sports fan and have met some outstanding sports figures, including Bruce Bochy.  I played almost every sport as a youth and still play competitive baseball and softball. When I'm not at the gym or playing sports I like to spend time with my wife hiking and ejoying the company of my friends and family.
