    Incoming Kindergartners

    Half day program to develop basic academic and social skills necessary for success in kindergarten.

    Extended School Year Students 

    Half day program to continue services outlined in student IEP’s and further develop academic, social, and functioning skills as determined by IEP teams.

    Entering, Incoming Grades 1-3

    Half day program to develop and strengthening literacy and math skills. Intensive small group instruction as well as whole group, active learning.

    Entering, Incoming Grades 4 & 5

    Half day program to develop and/or improve literacy and math skills. Intensive small group instruction as well as whole group, active learning.

    Entering, Incoming Grades 6-8

    Half day program with high-interest content. Rotation to include language arts, math, and a high-interest elective to build community and self-confidence.

    Summer Math Bridge, Incoming Grade 6 In-Person June 22-July 17

    Half day program focused on instructing and evaluating incoming sixth-grade students around the 6th-grade math lessons covered in the Math 5/6A Compacted course.

    Summer Math Bridge, Incoming Grade 6-8 Online June 22-July 17

    Half day program focused on supporting incoming sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade students who choose to complete one of the online math bridge programs provided by the district.

    Drama Camp June 22-July 17

    Summer program organized and facilitated by the Hillview drama teacher is relatively self-sustaining and provides a rich summer theatre experience for children in the community. The MS Summer School Director provides support, if necessary and when requested.
