MPCSD offers an Employee Commuter Incentive Program that rewards employees for using alternative transportation to get to and from our campuses. Under this plan, any employee who uses public transit or a vanpool arrangement to commute to work may receive a reimbursement of up to $75 per month for public transit costs.
 
All our schools and the District office are impacted by heavy traffic and limited parking. We encourage employees to use alternative modes of transportation and to take advantage of this program. In addition, our desire to help in regional efforts to reduce traffic congestion, air pollutants and greenhouse gases prompts us to promote the use of alternative modes such as public transit, ride sharing, and bicycling.

MPCSD employee benefits:

• Vanpool: MPCSD will reimburse up to $75 per month of costs associated with a commuting vanpool. Please submit an expense report according to the standard process - click here for Excel and click here for PDF.

• Bike: MPCSD has free helmets and safety vests for employees commuting by bike. Employees who walk are welcome to collect a vest too! Please email the Transportation team to make a request.
