2015 - 2017 Apple Distinguished School
In June of 2015, Hillview was invited to submit a description of its 1:1 iPad program for consideration of Apple Distinguished School recognition. In the fall of 2015, we engaged our staff in validating our work with iPads, documented our growth over the past three years, and collected examples of student work that told our story. Apple agreed that our 1:1 iPad program, a ubiquitous element of teaching and learning at Hillview, demonstrated visionary leadership, innovative teaching and learning, ongoing professional development, compelling evidence of success, and a flexible learning environment.2015 California Gold Ribbon School
