Giving to Our Schools

Menlo Park City School District schools are “community-funded.” Approximately 88% of the funding for our schools comes from local sources including property taxes, parcel taxes, and family, friend, neighbor, and local business support of two crucial organizations – the Menlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation (MPAEF) and each school’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Anyone can easily support these organizations with a contribution to the One Community Campaign.

Without our community's financial support of these organizations, our schools would not meet the high expectations of our community: attracting, developing, and retaining excellent classroom teachers; music, art & library classes; performing art & elective opportunities in middle school; field trips & assemblies; grade-level & school-wide events for our kids and families; and much more. These things simply do not exist in many public schools in California. To learn more, visit www.supportMPCSD.org.
