MPCSD teacher teams have determined priority standards to emphasize during instruction for student mastery. Priority standards are those standards that are most essential, the minimum, that students must learn to reach high levels of learning. They are the standards that are the focus of most of the classroom instruction. This doesn’t mean that other standards will not be covered, just that they are not taught to the depth and degree as the priority standards. Access grade span priority standards below:
- K-5 Priority Standards for Reading, Writing, and Math
- 6-8 Priority Standards for ELA, Math, Social Studies and Science
