Welcome to the Menlo Park City School District! We are an elementary school district serving students from preschool through 8th grade. Our District includes Encinal, Laurel, and Oak Knoll Elementary Schools and Hillview Middle School, plus the fee-based preschool, The Early Learning Center. MPCSD serves families residing in most neighborhoods of Menlo Park and Atherton. To verify that your address lies within the MPCSD borders, please use the School Locator link.

The 2025-26 registration window for all new students - including our TK students who will register for kindergarten is OPEN.

Steps for kindergarten Spanish Immersion enrollment for Fall 2026 admission:
Parents/guardians new to the Spanish Immersion program must attend a Mandatory Spanish Immersion Information Meeting. Meeting is optional for parents/guardians with currently enrolled students in the MPCSD Spanish Immersion program.

To be eligible for the Spanish Immersion lottery you must complete kindergarten registration during the priority registration process February 2 - 28, 2026. Registration received after February 2026 will be added to a program waitlist.
- Spanish Immersion Lottery March 30, 2026 at 9 AM 181 Encinal Ave, Atherton (TERC Building)
Participation is not required - Notifications will be sent after the lottery has been completed.
