Our fantastic school bus drivers Wilfin, Rosas, Mike, Alex, and Sheila are dedicated to providing a safe and friendly experience for all students.

Meet Our Bus Drivers

Our fantastic school bus drivers are dedicated to ensuring our students get to and from school safely each day. Our drivers are friendly and engaged and are the first point of contact for many of our students to help start their day off.

Modesta Rosas - "Rosa"
Bus Driver

Modesta Rosas, who goes by Rosa, has been a bus driver for 13 years. She joined MPCSD in 2016. Rosa considers it a pleasure to be able to help students get to school and is proud to be part of the MPCSD Transportation team.

Mike Trabanino began working at MPCSD in March of 2015. He is married with two children who have graduated from Cal Poly. His oldest works for law enforcement and his youngest is the business administrator of Providence Credit Union. Mike is a Dallas Cowboys fan!

Neighborhood Bus Registration Fees

Fees apply to those students who are riding to Encinal, Laurel Lower and Upper Campus, Oak Knoll, and Hillview. Below are the current fees for bus ridership.

Bus Fee Options:

Round Trip (AM & PM)	One Way (AM or PM)	Connector Bus*
$600 per year per student	$300 per year per student	$180 per student per year

Connector Bus (PM) EN > LLC > LUC / Connector Bus (PM) LUC > LLC
Connector Bus priority will be given to those who register for BOTH AM & PM and siblings. Bus fees are non-refundable.*

TK Tinsley Students Bus Information

TK Bus Transportation

MPCSD is offering morning bus transportation for Transitional Kindergarten students. No afternoon bus is available unless the TK student is enrolled in Newton. *Please note, that if a TK student is enrolled in Newton, the TK student may be with Newton and ride the TK-2 bus in the afternoon. Kindly coordinate with Newton directly to walk your child over to the bus stop.

Afternoon childcare available for TK students:

Newton Center will offer a fee-based after-school care program at each MPCSD TK campus.
