Air Quality and Extreme Heat Information
Air Quality Information
MPCSD's goal is to keep schools open during poor air quality. MPCSD aligns with the San Mateo County Office of Education (SMCOE) in believing that "schools are the best place for students to be when air quality is poor as they are well-supervised, can be kept indoors, and are able to continue to learn." Please see this Air Quality information at the SMCOE website; MPCSD follows the SMCOE guidelines.
Extreme Heat Information
Please see the California Department of Public Health website for guidance on sports and strenuous activities during extreme heat.
