It is my honor to serve as Menlo Park City School District’s superintendent. My leadership philosophy is rooted in teamwork. I will multiply the expertise of our leaders and staff and partner with the Board and community. I believe student success hinges on the quality of the school climate, culture, and classroom instruction. Therefore, high quality leaders, teachers, and staff are essential and continue to be our top resource. When we value progress over perfection, and people before programs, the result is a student-centered community that prioritizes connection, learning, and continuous improvement.

My goal areas align with the tenets of our district vision: to engage, achieve, and thrive. Balancing our strengths and needs with new ideas, varying perspectives, and refreshing opportunities creates a dynamic journey moving forward. A journey that includes you.

While our function as a school district is primarily to educate students, our true purpose and aspirations as educators reach far beyond successfully promoting students from one grade level to the next. The meaningful experiences our students have at our schools today will have a lasting impact on their futures. I want every child to have the confidence and skills to develop healthy relationships, pursue their interests, and be world-ready. As superintendent, I embrace strong connections, complex challenges, inspiring teamwork, and valued partnership as together we ensure that 100% of our MPCSD students engage, achieve, and thrive.
