Attention 5th Grade Students: Save the date! Online Live Escape Room by Beat The Lock Productions, Friday, June 4th between 5:30-8pm
Put on your detective cap and join your fellow students for a fun, interactive virtual escape room! Students will be assigned a timeslot of either 5:30-6:30 or 6:30-7:30 on Friday June 4th to participate in a virtual escape room in lieu of an in person Bash presented by Beat the Lock Productions and supported fully by the PTO.
More details to follow soon, for now please reserve the times between 5:30-8pm on Friday June 4th so your child can attend. Once the games are played we are planning on separately inviting all the kids together on one group zoom so they can discuss their experience from playing the game.
How it’s Played:
Everyone joins the virtual lobby together.
You will be greeted by the Beat The Lock Game Masters and Host who will provide the introduction and rules of the game and then they divide you into private escape rooms via breakout rooms. Games are played with an interactive Zoom conference call, allowing for screen share of audio, video and visual features of our actual physical escape rooms. Each room will have a Game Master who plays a character in the story who you communicate with to help another character escape the room. Your group is also assigned a part such as a group of neighbors so everyone is immersed. The game master connects your group to the room playing videos of things happening in the room and showing pictures of what you find, all provided while in character. Afterward, we bring everyone back together to reveal escape times as part of the competition.
Hope to see all the fifth graders on the 4th of June!
