    Apply for the 2020-21 school year

     

    Please click on this link to apply for 2020-21 enrollment. 

     

    Eligible children must be 3 years old by December 1, 2020 and fully potty trained by the first day of school.

    Program offerings for 2020-21:

     

    ELC Laurel - 95 Edge Rd. Atherton

     

    • 2 Full-Day classroom open 7:30-5:30 
    • 1 Part-Day classroom open 8:30-12:30 with an option for early care for 7:30-8:30

     

    ELC Oak Knoll - 1895 Oak Knoll Ln. Menlo Park

     

    • 1 Full day classroom open from 7:30-5:30  (minimum day 1st Thursday per month)

     

    2020-21 Enrollment Priorities

     

    • Priority 1 –Current ELC students and their siblings

     

    • Priority 2 - MPCSD Residents and children eligible for the Tinsley Voluntary Transfer Program who qualify for an Early Learning Center scholarship and whose siblings attend MPCSD schools

     

    • Priority 3 - MPCSD Staff (children of ELC staff will receive first priority among staff)

     

    • Priority 4 - Community - Children who live outside of the MPCSD boundaries

     

    • Priority 5- Children whose families apply after December 7, 2019

    The Menlo Park City School District’s Early Learning Center nurtures young children’s curiosity, sense of wonder, belonging, and deep engagement with the world around them, preparing them to develop the critical skills needed to enter kindergarten and reach their full potential.

     

    Our caring and knowledgeable teachers support the development of friendships, foster positive conflict resolution skills, and ensure that children have a sense of belonging and feel safe and valued for their unique gifts.

    Spring 2020 Update

     

    The ELC closed for in-person instruction on March 16, 2020. Our teaching staff continues to provide distance learning through online circle times, 1:1 online visits, small groups and prerecorded videos updated weekly.

     

    We are in the process of planning for reopening in Summer and Fall 2020.

     

    Information will be available soon regarding summer camp.
