Here is a list of outside vendors who will offer summer programs at MPCSD campuses. These programs are not affiliated with or endorsed by MPCSD. Please contact them directly with questions and to register.
Newton Summer Camp is Now OPEN!
Join Newton Center for a summer full of fun-filled Newton Challenges - hands-on learning projects that encourage collaboration, innovation, and creativity! Our program will offer a variety of fun, engaging, hands-on learning activities that encourage campers to work together, be creative, and innovate. Back for the 2024 season are weekly field trips for students entering 1st through 6th grade in the 2024-2025 school year! Our program will be held at the Lower Laurel Campus from June 17 until August 21. Please find our information sheet here.

Camp Galileo Enrollment Now Open! Innovation, friendship, and fun for K-8th graders
At Camp Galileo, every week is a one-of-a-kind adventure full of engaging STEM projects, collaborative design challenges, and classic camp fun, from silly skits to face painting to pie throwing. Adventures in Writing Camp
Give your child a positive, confidence-building experience with writing this summer! Adventures in Writing Camp provides your child the skills and practice they need to succeed in school... and beyond at Upper Laurel Elementary School!
Your child will learn from energetic teachers and counselors, and engage with writing through music, theater, and technology. Rising first graders develop foundational skills, while campers entering grades 2-5 write, edit, and publish their own eBooks. Middle school campers create their project about a topic they love and improve their persuasive and explanatory writing skills.

AI + AR Camp at Encinal Elementary
Join #1 AI + AR STEM & Art camp for grades K-8: Magical, fun, future-forwarding, and great learning. Mine, Craft, Build Adventure Game with LEGO® Materials Summer Camp
Bring Minecraft to life using LEGO® bricks! Resourcefulness, creativity, and cooperation come together in this unique building adventure game; roll the dice to mine for resources, and use these resources to build special items to help in our adventures! Build a Zoo, create a Medieval Castle, and design a Tree House Village!
This experience is an original game designed by Play-Well instructors inspired by the popular game, Minecraft. Chef Meenu's Summer Cooking/Baking Camp at Oak Knoll!
Chef Meenu has taught international cooking and baking classes to adults and children for over a decade. Teaches a variety of cuisines and her passion, specialty and expertise is Indian cuisine. Her mantra is to inspire adults and children to cook, try out new ingredients and dishes and equip them with lifelong culinary skills and healthy eating habits. Kidizens Camp at Upper Laurel!
At Kidizens, children take on a highly experiential civic leadership journey to learn 21st-century real-life skills and strategies by building, managing, and governing LEGO cities. They learn to become responsible citizens by developing social-emotional skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills through fun, immersive role-play as city council members in a highly collaborative and engaging learning environment.
