LYNN EISNER - ALGEBRA/SCIENCE TEACHER

  •  Ms. Eisner

I started my career at Hillview in 1998. Over the years, I have taught math, science, leadership, 6th grade advisory, and I was a Student Activities Director for many years.

After teaching 8th grade science and math for the past nine years, I decided it was time for a change, so I have gone back to my "roots" and will be teaching full-time math this year! I am member of the 8th grade Explorers Academy. I teach Math 8 as well as High School Algebra using the "flipped-model" classroom with Ms. Keller.

I attended University of Maine, Orono and received a B.S. in Elementary Education in 1997. I also attended SJSU and received a M.A. in Instructional Technology in 2008.

Outside of teaching, I have a 7-year-old daughter, Evie, who is in first grade at Laurel! She keeps me very busy :-) I am also an avid sports fan. Raised in Maine, I am loyal to my hometown teams of the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins. I still love lobstah and ice cream and get my fill at least twice a year when I visit my family. I also enjoy cooking, DIY projects, reading, and of course, TEACHING!!!
