Fewer cars make campuses feel welcoming, safe and easy to approach on foot. When choosing how students commute to and from school, families should determine the best options in light of their children's age and experience.
MPCSD YELLOW BUS
Menlo Park City School District provides resident transportation to students at Encinal School, Laurel School (Upper and Lower Campus') and Oak Knoll (morning). Samtrans service is also available to Encinal, Hillview, and Oak Knoll (afternoon). There may be changes prior to the 2018-19 School Year. These changes will be finalized by August 1st, 2018.

Families can select different options for riding the MPCSD yellow school bus. Fees apply for riding to both Encinal and Laurel. Any changes in these fees for the 2018-19 school year will be posted by August 1, 2018.

Student safety, traffic flow and parking are critical issues for the District, and MPCSD is committed to Safe Routes projects in partnership with Menlo Park, Atherton, San Mateo County and local police departments.
