Stephanie Sheridan, Executive Director of Student Services

Stephanie Dr. Stephanie Sheridan, Executive Director of Student Services, comes to Menlo Park City School District with over 20 years of experience in the field of education. Prior to joining the Menlo Park City School District, Dr. Sheridan served as Director of Secondary Special Education Services at the Palo Alto Unified School District. Prior to her administrative role, she served as Lead School Psychologist in Palo Alto and worked at both elementary and secondary levels. She started her career as a school psychologist in the San Mateo-Foster City School District.

Dr. Sheridan has expertise in the area of mental health, behavior and wellness services. In addition, she supports an inclusion model, securing opportunities for students with disabilities alongside non-disabled peers. Dr. Sheridan recently participated in the symposium “Universal Design for Learning: Leading Inclusive Education for All Students” at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Dr. Sheridan’s experience includes teaching at the graduate level at San Francisco State University in the Psychology Department.

Dr. Sheridan received her Doctorate of Education from Nova Southeastern University and her Masters of Education from the University of Massachusetts. She lives in San Mateo with her partner and three sons.
